The Nevada Parks and Recreation Department offers programs for all ages which include aquatics, sports, social/cultural, wellness, instructional, trips, and special events. Nevada Parks and Recreation is also responsible for maintaining the various city parks, Fawcett Family Aquatic Center, Pavilion, and Community Building.

"It Starts In Parks"

Family Fun Night

Wednesday, May 19^th

Citizens are invited to attend this free and fun, family event. It Starts in Parks is a program adopted by the Nevada Parks and Recreation Department to get citizens of Nevada out to enjoy the wonderful outdoor facilities that are a vital part of our community.

Current Activities/Events:

· $10.00 off the purchase of a family aquatic center season pass (Nevada Residents Only)

· Inflatable bounce house

· Free Ham and Turkey Sandwiches

· Baseball and Softball Scrimmage Games
