MISSION STATEMENT

The Nevada Police Department is committed to providing quality and competent police services, protecting life and property, promoting a safe environment for families and commerce, working in partnership with the community to solve problems, provide training and safety education, and promoting values, which will enhance the quality of life in Nevada.

OUR GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

Promote education, prevention, intervention, and enforcement programs to protect those who are vulnerable, redirect at risk individuals into healthier lifestyles, and deter those who would victimize our community through police decision-making, which is fair, reasonable, and respectful of individual rights and human dignity.

A. Increase communication regarding NPD programs and services
